A simple, fun, tasty, and healthy halloween snack! These Spiders on a Log make a great after school snack or party appetizer!
I just love celebrating holidays with food! And what I have learned is that it doesn’t always have to be an elaborate gourmet dish. Fun and simple simple snacks are often the ones that my family get most excited about. These Spiders on a Log are always a hit, and so easy to make! It’s a great one to get the kids in the kitchen for. They make a perfect after school snack, and we absolutely loved them on our Halloween Snack Tray!
If your kids don’t like celery, spread the peanut butter on apple slices!
If you are dealing with a peanut allergy, sunbutter is a great substitution.
To melt the chocolate, place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds. Stir until the chocolate chips are melted. If necessary, heat in 10-second intervals or until smooth.
