I do guided breathing exercises 🧘🏻♀️
When I’m stressed out or anxious, I turn to guided exercises that help me control the flow of my breath. I use the Open app (though there are many free options online), which includes exercises that almost always involve taking a deep, slow breath, holding it in, and then releasing it steadily.
The practice usually takes just a few minutes and can be done anywhere — while walking, waiting for a train or sitting on a couch. I’ve found that the exercises can completely shift my mental state, leaving me feeling less frazzled and more calm.
